Blackened fish tataki

  • 500g Firm white fish
  • Blackened or Cajun spices (pick one with not too much salt in it)
  • 2 splash of olive oil
  • 1 lemon, quartered (grilled if you have time)

Yep. That’s it!

How to

  1. Cover the fish with the spices (you want to coat it) and a bit of olive oil
  2. Sear the fish at high temperature (in pan, or on a BBQ) until cooked on the outside, but still a bit raw on the inside.
  3. Serve by slicing it on a chopping board.
  4. Add some lemon wedges on the side at serving (if you can grill them, they taste even better!)
