Watermelon fish bites with wasabi sauce

  • Cubes of fresh watermelon
  • 200g Firm white fish, sliced at about ¼ cm.
  • Cucumber (skinned and thinly sliced on the length)
  • Dozen leaves of fresh mint
  • Wasabi paste (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Splash of sesame oil
  • ½ juice of a fresh lime
  • Pinch of sugar 
  • Black sesame seeds

How to

  1. Place the watermelon cubes on a board or a plate
  2. Top with the fish, slices folded in half
  3. Roll and add the cucumber slices.
  4. Finish the bites with a leave of mint and sprinkle with black sesame seeds
  5. For the sauce, mix together the wasabi, the sesame oil, the lime juice and the sugar.
